DAY 1: 6TH ANNUAL SUSTAINABLE INCLUSIVE BUSINESS CONFERENCE ON CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Greetings from Sustainable Inclusive Business.
We are excited to invite you to the 6th Annual Sustainable Inclusive Business Conference on Circular Economy; that will take place on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th October 2021.
While last year we stated: ‘Kenya to accelerate the adoption of circular economy’, this year we state: “Kenya is in Transition to a Circular Economy”!
On the first day, we will share and exchange the latest updates, developments and initiatives that are speeding up the transition to a circular economy. One of the day’s highlights will be the launch of the Kenya Plastics Pact, a locally developed initiative that brings together businesses, governments, researchers, NGOs, civil society, informal waste sector players, and other stakeholders across the whole plastics value chain to set time-bound commitments to transform the current linear plastics system into a circular plastics economy. It will be the second in Africa, after the South African Plastics Pact; with a vision of: “A circular economy for plastic packaging in which it never becomes waste.”
SAVE THE DATE, block your calendar, and share the invite widely with your networks to participate in the 2-days virtual conference.

“Circular economy won’t just happen; it will wait till everyone takes individual and corporate responsibility and it requires intention and design. It requires new values and system change.”
We look forward to your participation.
