Role: Speaking on Sustainable Practices in Tourism
The Green Tourism Summit Africa is about leveraging opportunities presented by environment and social sustainability as prime innovation platforms for tourism and conservation. Hosted by Sustainable Travel & Tourism Agenda (STTA), this annual
event is a mutli-sector engagement forum for exploring solutions and emerging new trends in sustainability, inspiring innovation
and accessing solutions and building networks.
Awareness Creation: The speaking role allowed us to reach the key players in the sector, of particular importance the academia (students and lecturers from Technical University Mombasa) who were keen on bridging the gap because the university has no knowledge on Sustainable Tourism.
