This meeting explored ways of unlocking opportunities for youth in the Blue Economy. Speakers from different sectors, including Karin Boomsma highlighted different opportunities, mind-set triggers and careers in the blue economy. The forum also shared mechanisms that can be used to harness youth innovation in building sustainable cities and Blue Economy. Karin Boomsma was able to nudge the youth to stop wishing / thinking and start acting through identifying the right partners for the right solutions to drive the required change.
