2023 – 8th  Annual Sustainable Inclusive Conference – Circular Economy

Since the launch of sustainable inclusive business – the knowledge & network centre end of 2015 we have been hosting the annual sustainable inclusive circular conference.

From the start it has brought together on average 300 people from businesses, ngo’s, civil society, government and academia. the conferences have proven to be a fertile ground for businesses to exchange knowledge on sustainability and inclusiveness and to enhance their application abilities of sustainable inclusive business principles.

2023 – 8th  Annual Sustainable Inclusive Conference – Circular Economy

On the 9h of November 2023, Sustainable Inclusive Business(SIB-K) hosted the Circular Economy Conference in Nairobi bringing together 250 participants on site and 250 online.

The conference, facilitated inspiring encounters, entertainment, start-ups, ideas, conversations, masterclasses and first-hand information session with government bodies, private sector players, bilateral partners, civil societies, academia, and individuals from across Africa and internationally, to provide a collective energy to explore the trends and the opportunities.

 

Designers showing their upcycles fashion, their high quality design for endless fashion, youth on stage sharing their vision for a circular future. Karin Boomsma, director Sustainable Inclusive Business invited everyone to think what their relationship is with nature. Are you part of nature, are you a partner of nature, a steward of nature or do you ‘own’ nature.
