Here is the Sustainable Inclusive Business story

Sustainable Inclusive Business Kenya (SIB-K) is a Knowledge and Network Centre established in 2015 through a strategic partnership between KEPSA Foundation and MVO Nederland, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kenya. SIB-K strives to drive and catalyze change through inspiration, knowledge sharing, initiative, facilitation, partnerships, and connection. Our primary objective is to bring businesses and their stakeholders together to share knowledge, expertise, and good practices to create a sustainable and inclusive economy and future-proof businesses with a positive impact on people and the planet.

As a neutral platform, we work with various stakeholders, including the government, civil society, NGOs, academia, businesses, startups, youth, and business experts across all sectors. Our focus areas include Circular Economy, Climate Change, People Empowerment, and Redefining Business Values. Adopting a new business mindset is essential for businesses to become future-proof. This involves creating a thriving, sustainable, circular, and inclusive business model that aligns with suitable business DNA.

As the primary driving force behind any country’s economy, businesses are responsible for caring for the environment and the people. Therefore, ensuring that their footprint does not leave a disaster in its wake is imperative. Businesses must identify their role and goals and determine how they can support themselves to achieve their objectives, grow their responsible business practices, and continuously improve their businesses. Improving businesses is always a win, and we believe that every business can contribute to a sustainable economy.
