As a Socially Responsibly Corporate, Bidco Africa is leading from the frontline in the efforts to combating the virus’s further
spread. Being an essential products manufacturer, Bidco’s impact in the African markets for hygiene and sanitation is key in the fight
and thus, sustainable supply is of great essence to the millions of consumers across the region.

We understand that we are part of a community that needs Care, Empowerment and Support. We know the obligations to the
communities, where we live and, work and during this time, we have stepped up our efforts to ensure they deal with the
challenges of food and hygiene provision.

The journey has been tough and we have not been able to do this alone. We have entered into winning partnerships with fellow
companies; public and private sector players, that share with us the same interests, to uplift the members of our community. Various initiatives have been rolled out, Internally and Externally, with global benchmarks and guidance by the Government of
Kenya and the World Health Organization; on best practices of going about precautionary measures.

Some of the initiatives we are currently running include hand washing drives in high-risk areas, food and hygiene drives in Korogocho & Kibera slums among other informal settlements, donation of foodstuff and hygiene and personal care products to the Nairobi Street Families, and joint donations to the COVID-19 emergency response fund among others.
